Ukrainian Kashambas: A Unique NFT Collection and Pitch Deck Website

Supporting Ukraine's Evacuation and Humanitarian Efforts

In the face of tragedy, Alice Kalnitska, the artist and designer behind Ukrainian Kashambas, sought to make a difference. Inspired by the need to help people affected by the events in Ukraine, she created a unique NFT collection and a pitch deck website. The collection serves as a platform for millions of people to contribute to stopping violence and supporting those in need.

The Ukrainian Kashambas NFT collection features 10 brave warriors, each with their own unique characteristics and a commitment to bringing justice. These Kashambas, represented through vibrant and eye-catching illustrations, symbolize hope and resilience in the face of adversity. The primary color palette of purple, complemented by accent colors of pink, orange, and yellow, creates a positive emotional backdrop.

The design of the pitch deck website reflects the seriousness of the situation, with typography that exudes a sense of strength and determination. The website's one-page structure ensures easy navigation, allowing users to focus on the target action: making a donation. The design incorporates minimal textual descriptions, relying instead on impactful graphics to convey the message effectively.

Technical expertise played a crucial role in bringing the Ukrainian Kashambas project to life. The illustrations were created using Adobe Illustrator, while the UX/UI design was executed in Figma. Image retouching was done in Adobe Photoshop, and the development of the website utilized HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The result is a fully responsive website that can be accessed on various devices, including laptops, smartphones, and tablets.

The Ukrainian Kashambas pitch deck website was published in March 2022, following the creation of the first NFT in a bomb shelter in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The website is compatible with the latest versions of popular browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, and Android.

Alice Kalnitska, the artist and designer behind Ukrainian Kashambas, collaborated with developer Oleg K to bring this project to fruition. Together, they overcame the challenges posed by the constant stress and tragedy surrounding them, channeling their energy into creating an angry cat face and utilizing bright, positive colors to inspire hope and resilience.

In 2022, the project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Website and Web Design category. This prestigious accolade acknowledges designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
